About
Ben is an outcomes researcher and board-certified internist. He practices hospital medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and serves as faculty at Harvard Medical School. He is also a Doctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Health Management and Health Economics at the University of Oslo.
Ben served as senior consultant for Wing Tech Inc. from 2009-2020. He has been a guest researcher in clinical AI at Ludwig-Maximillian University Munich and conducted research at University Hospital Augsburg and the University of Oslo's PharmaSafe research group.
He has co-authored 50 peer-reviewed papers and 75 abstracts. He has served as co-editor of Value in Health and PLOS Medicine for over 8 years, is an Associate Editor with PLOS Digital Medicine, and serves on the editorial board of Pharmacoeconomics.
Ben's career vision is to serve as a bridge between health policy/management and clinical medicine by translating research into actionable insights for improved patient outcomes and health equity.
